PRODUCERS

THE CHALLENGE

The landscape for food and beverage businesses is increasingly competitive and the challenge is to differentiate yourself from your competitors. You can do this with location, service and product.

With regards to product, the smaller the distribution, the less interesting for the supplier; the greater the distribution, the less interesting for the customer. Unless, of course, the supplier’s main goal is pure volume of sales, and the customers main goal is having products with broad brand recognition.

THE TANNIN SOLUTION

OVERALL GOAL

Have fun, make money, satisfy customers and suppliers

CUSTOMERS

Tannin will work closely with those food and beverage businesses who seek to differentiate their businesses in the following ways:

Service: Knowledgeable, passionate, wine-focused, professional

Product (wines): Small production, high quality, unique, limited distribution

Passion

Tannin will select producer partners that meet the following criteria:

Passionate Modest production Defining emerging regions or redefining existing ones As natural as possible production methods Interested in quality of distribution rather than quantity of distribution

APPROACH

Tannin will import from a modest number of suppliers, and work closely with a modest number of customers, offering them varying degrees of exclusivity on those products. Tannin will act professionally and passionately and support to the best of its ability its customers. This allows suppliers direct to access target markets. And by streamlining importing costs allows customers to make the margins required to sustain their business models.

Logistics: Tannin will organize 2 tastings a year to taste new vintages and/or new products.
